MA
“The connection of interests among men in the Spirit”
Thank you for visiting our site. Please take a few moments to see what Men’s Alliance stands for. MA brings men together in prayer, faith through action, restoration, and devotion. Our mission is to continue the established tradition of building men to have a heart for apostolic teaching with “right-now” application.
Goal: Our goal is that every man God sends our way might become more like the man Christ Jesus.
Vision: Our vision is to strengthen men in the Spirit.
Scope of the Department
- Allied in prayer
- Allied in faith through action
- Allied in restoration
- Allied in devotion
Allied in prayer: to produce the maximum amount of prayer participation
~”Prayer Allies” employs various forms of technology and works as an encouragement tool for men. Young men develop boldness in prayer as elders set examples. “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (I Timothy 2:8).
Allied in faith through action: to produce faith that literally works
~MA encourages men to develop the faith to serve within the body of Christ. The concept of “faith works” is the focus of this aspect of MA. “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only” (James 2:24).
Allied in restoration: to produce the heart of restoration in men
~Because men at various times need to be restored, MA is here to help them regain a right relationship with their Savior through example. “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:1-2).
Allied in devotion: to maintain guiding principles of godliness
~This aspect of MA is to encourage our men to give their time, efforts, and selves to godly matters. It addresses the day-by-day difficulty of living in this world but remaining separate. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:11-13).
