Home Bible Studies

We are excited about reaching families with a message of salvation, love, grace, and mercy. We do this through teaching home Bible studies. It is a way to enhance spiritual growth and to disciple those who are hungry to know more about God. These interactive studies guide people into a deeper relationship with their Creator. It is rewarding to see hungry hearts transformed into thriving Christians who walk daily and consistently with their Savior and who themselves are equipped to reach for other hungry souls.

Follow-up

We at The Sanctuary are excited about every guest who worships with us. We want our guests to know that we appreciate them coming and that we want them to join us again. “Follow-up” means that we contact our guests to make them aware of what ministries are available to them through our church community. During the contact, we offer to join our guests in prayer for their particular needs. We welcome them to join us again and offer various Bible studies that match their interests. We want our guests to know that they are our priority.

Altar Workers

The Sanctuary altar workers are equipped and willing to assist members and guests alike around the altar. They are happy to pray with you for salvation, infilling of the Holy Spirit, and any other requests you may have. Each altar worker wants to help connect you to Jesus Christ, the source of salvation, help, blessing, or healing. When you receive answers to our focused prayers, we will be there to rejoice with you.

Door-to Door

Several times a year, the Door-to-Door Ministry formulates teams that contact people in our community. We distribute church flyers and information about The Sanctuary family and our events. We want everyone to know about our church family, the services we offer to the community, and the message of hope we represent. We encourage our members to participate in these events to help reach our community with the good news.

CARE Group (CARE group leaders click here)

The CARE Group Ministry (consecration, accountability, relationships, and evangelism) is an important part of our church. In these monthly small group meetings, each individual is accounted for and cared for, receiving fellowship, encouragement, and support. CARE groups are also a means of communication about events, special prayer requests, and other opportunities to involve everyone in our congregation.  Please click here to answer one question concerning your involvement in CARE groups.

Deaf Ministry

The Deaf Ministry is an active part of our church family. This ministry is for the hearing impaired of our community. All services and events are interpreted for the deaf; throughout the year they can enjoy many social events, special musical presentations that incorporate ASL, and a deaf choir. We also provide an adult Sunday school class for the deaf and interpreters for deaf children in their respective Sunday school classes.

World Missions

We all can take part in sending the gospel around the world. The purpose of the World Missions Ministry is to support our missionaries as they take the gospel to foreign countries. We support them by monthly financial giving, as well as praying for their safety and success in reaping a harvest of souls. Our monthly giving is done through Partners in Missions, and we designate the first Sunday of each month for this special offering. We encourage all of our members to support a cause that reaches beyond our own city.

Bus Ministry

Our Bus Ministry faithfully visits and transports children and adults (if parents care to accompany their children) to our services. We go into communities, inviting children to attend Sunday school and to participate in a variety of exciting children’s events. We want the children of our community to feel that they are valued, loved, and cared for by people that are interested in seeing them develop into successful Christian young people and adults.
